This privacy policy statement provides information on the obligations and policies of Animae Technologies Limited (the "Company"), and the provisions herein may be updated, revised, varied and/or amended from time to time as the Company deems necessary. The Company developed, owned and operated the mobile application (the “App”) and the platform, which are collaboratively called the Services. To use the App, a user must register to create a account (the “Account”) with Google registered email address, Facebook registered email address, and/or other registered email address. When a user registers to create the Account, the Company will collect certain information (the “Information”) that privacy settings permit us to access via the App. The Company may use users’ Log Data and other information to generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how our Services are used and use such aggregated information to understand and improve our Services and to administer use of the Services. If the Company engages a third party to analyze the Log Data, the Company will ensure that such third party is bound by contractual terms requiring it to process such Log Data under the Hong Kong SAR Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance 1995 - Cap.486 (the "Ordinance"). Users have the right to refuse further collection, use, and/or disclosure of his/her Log Data and information by notifying the Company. Users should safeguard his/her unique username and password by keeping it secret and confidential and never share these details with anyone. The Company takes appropriate physical and electronic measures designed to protect the information that the Company collected from or about a user from accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss or unauthorized access, use, modification, interference, or disclosure. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure. Accordingly, the Company cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information. The Company may share aggregated information and non-identifying information with third parties for research and analysis, demographic profiling, and other similar purposes. In all cases these third parties sign an appropriate agreement with the Company securing that information. Users have the right to obtain copies, correct or delete any personal data relating to them the Company holds with request. Please note, however, that some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or as otherwise required by law. In accordance with the terms of the Ordinance, the Company has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the processing of any data access request. From time to time, the Company may conduct direct marketing of the Company's products or services via email, direct mails, telemarketing and /or other form of communication to the users. Upon user’s consent, the Company may deliver latest information including corporate information, campaigns, events, seminars, benefits and other promotions, relating to the Services. Such information could be delivered to a user personally through various communication channels by using email address, phone number and mobile notification.
